Today I am writing to stress the importance of making at least one blog post per day. I’ll start by stating: A blog a day will definitely keep the search engines at play on your website, BUT ONLY IF THE CONTENT IS USEFUL!!! By having updated, relevant, original content on your blog you are telling search engines that you are “the real deal”. Quick Fact: The more you blog, the more search engines crawl your website. Why is the frequency at which search engines crawl your site important? Because it allows you to establish TRUST quicker:

• The Trust Factor – How long has your website been around? How often do you provide content? Is it relevant? Are there any reputable sites linking back to yours? Do you have DUPLICATE CONTENT? These are all questions that tie into the trust factor. It is important to establish trust early between your site and search engines, but in order to establish trust you must be getting attention from search engines…thus the importance of a high crawl rate.

So now that we’ve established that a blog a day can speed up the rate at which search engines crawl your site, which will in turn decrease the time it takes for them to put trust in your content…What are you waiting for?
