I created this tutorial to show you how to use the slice tool, and the slice select tool to create slices and hotspots in Photoshop.

Here’s the step by step instructions

1. Open your image in photoshop.

2. Choose the Slice tool from the left menu bar.

3. Use the slice tool to select the parts of the image that you want to be able to control.

4. Click the number in the left hand corner of your slices to rename, and link them.

5. Choose file –> Save for Web & Devices

6. Save the images in whatever format is best for you.

7. You’re Done!
